Brooke Juhula, a certified photo instructor for Lindblad Expeditons-National Geographic, began her career in adventure photography, shooting in environments she had no control over. To excel in the field, she learned to anticipate the moment, understand the light, and be creative and quick on her feet. Nowhere do those skills apply more than in Antarctica where everything from the weather and the wildlife to the icebergs and sea ice can be unpredictable. In this Expedition Spotlight, Juhula shares her approach to photography on the spectacular seventh continent.
