Today, National Geographic Orion visited Tenerife in the Canary Islands. We arrived at the port in Santa Cruz, the largest community we’ve visited so far. Once more we explored a lush laurel forest high up on the hilltops. The forest we visited today is teeming with endemic species, boasting the highest concentration of endemics in all of Europe.
