A Family Affair
In July 1967 Lars-Eric Lindblad led the first international tourist expedition to Galápagos, paving the way for generations of guests to discover the magic and mystery of these fascinating islands, the world’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Making a difference for 50 years
Lindblad has been a key partner in Galápagos conservation since the first expedition 50 years ago: present at the beginning of the Galápagos National Park Service, furthering the work of the Charles Darwin Station, and pioneering international tourism in the islands. Here, some notable moments.
Introducing the Global Explorers Program
In June 2017, we launched a new kids and teen program in Galápagos! This unique exploration-based program will provide the most engaging Galápagos learning experience. Kids and teens will choose among activities and experiences to participate in, designed to help them develop the attitudes, skills, and knowledge of an explorer.
Whichever ship, itinerary or departure date, we guarantee you the best experience. These are just some of the extraordinary staff and guest speakers people who enrich our expeditions.
